Crossroads Bongos

Description

Dimensions: 20″ wide x 13″ tall x 9.5″ and 9″ diameters. Each drum is carved from one piece of tropical hardwood (wood type/name unknown). The skins are Goat Skin from Ivory Coast. The slightly larger diameter drum is tuned lower than the other higher tuned drum (ala Bongo Drums). There are 4 Steel Rings per Drum with highest quality non-stretch nylon rope. They have a wonderful bright, loud voice! Tuning adjustments are done with the rope and the drums can be separated by loosening the 2 quarter inch nuts on the inside that secure the bolts holding the pair together. The wood attachment piece is Afromosia Wood, a tropical hardwood from Africa.
